Z-DAY What is z-day? Z-day is a 24 hour period where people interested in supporting your vision agree to take action by purchasing your product or service on Amazon.com. Amazon counts sales per day and awards books a continuous best seller status to the top 100 selling books that day and over time. My intention is to drive CPR for the Soul to the top of the all-time list, as we continue to release our system. While some people find this is "cheating" and because they think that and believe that, it may be to them. I can't argue morality with them, because they are entitled to think and believe as they wish. However, it is no more cheating than a large publishing house promoting any book to the best seller list through advertising. For some reason, people think that if you do things the conventional way, that if you pay someone else, and EVERYONE does who writes and gets a book published, either with your blood, sweat and tears in writing the book, or low fees paid back to you when the book is sold by publishers--pays to have their book promoted--is not cheating... While someone who self-publishes their own book and promotes it by getting people to buy it by offering them incentives is somehow morally destitute. Proactively taking things into your own hands is not for everyone. Quite frankly, FEW people take this unconventional route because it requires so much time, effort and network capital that few ever make it. And I think it is a lot easier to morally condemn someone for the "way" they do things, than it is to realize that it takes a lot of different methods to succeed, and some of those are not just the conventional means. If you think z-day is a sham, I would ask you to consider your own approach to convention and see if the ends don't justify the means. If we help one person through my book, or even through my campaign by giving them a bonus product or service they can use as a result, have we not succeeded? In any case, you have to make up your own mind.
